Getting ready...

Wow! It's been a busy week, completing projects...prepping for the blog hop! I've been a crafting monster! Not only that, but Jacob has an extraordinarily full schedule at school this week!

Monday was the zoo.. thursday was Track and Field Day and tomorrow is Bounce U day!

Emma also has a last day of school party...making cupcakes tonight for that (pink of course!

Have to work a quick four hours tonight...ugh!

Welcome Monday!

sunday was spent celebrating two birthdays...65 years apart!

how lucky for both to share a birthday!

we also spent time setting up emma and mommi's little

garden. we have cucumbers, squash, peas, peppers and tomatoes.

all in a 12ft area? ummm better rethink this.

i'll let you know what we harvest!

and Monday morning was a really early day at school

for Jacob...time for the zoo!

I quizzed him when he got home...i only got tidbits. i'm sure

i'll get more info tomorrow. he's too busy to talk about it!

Tuesday will bring: no school for anybody...pray for no rain!

Wednesday will bring: jacob's choral concert

Thursday will bring: track and field day for jacob and an extra shift for me

Friday will bring: a party for emma (last day of preschool), Bounce U for jacob

and work for me!

and can you believe next week is the last week of the school year?

Nick will move to 11th grade...he's got quite a summer ahead of him!

jacob will move to first grade and emma will start kindergarten!

Unbelievable!

Toilet Paper Roll mini album contest!!

More recycled products!

So, I had this great little box from K&Company that some chipboard letters had come in. It even

has a little green chain at the top as a handle. So I covered it in paper....

and then made a little tag album to fit inside.

This was plastic packaging for some acrylic embellishments

from Ollie's! I thought the three sections would be great to hold some photos

and I had this funky girlie paper laying around..

here's what I came up with...

I figured Emma could hang it on her door.

Very rocker!

to add to the recycle theme, i also used some leftover foam from

brads i received to push out the photos because the packaging

had indentations.

funny...i lost the "s" to this letter set,

so i subbed in the "z"...

enjoy!

My NSD Party!

I had my Simple Stories Party last night and we had a great time making our mini albums! I actually had 3 scrappers who had never scrapped before and they did a fabulous job learning techniques and making the mini album! Everyone had a theme for their album, one was for Mother's Day, Father's Day and another a dedication album to a child. Everyone's albums turned out great!

over the weekend...

Nick says..."my mom's so crafty...look what she did!"

The Mammarazzi Line...oh God do I LOVE this paper set!

Using up scraps here...

Oh, and this is just so awesome!

I have one of those Febreze Luminaries, well I just love

the little "shade", but the smell was all gone.

Far be it from me to throw it away so....

I turned it into a card! It matched perfectly with the Crate Paper line

I had just gotten from MemoryWorks!

Go Green!!

Nick did a scratch frame for me.

I'm going to use it on a page.

Emma made me this cute card and

gave me some seeds to plant in

her flashy decorated pot

(bejeweled!)

so we were eating dinner on Saturday night and we heard this loud

"BOOM" and then some yelling.

thinking someone got run over we ran outside and found this...

our neighbors car was on fire?

UMMMMMMM!

So along came the fireman, much to Jacob's delight!

and this is what was left when they were all done!

If you look in the first picture, you'll see one of my brain surgeon neighbors actually

standing right next to the giant BURNING CAR!

I'm sure that pic might make internet news for world's dumbest

people....it seriously took the police and fireman to tell everyone to

MOVE AWAY FROM THE BURNING CAR!!
