MWE Kit: Ayla's album
I got this album at Ollies...$3 people!! It's one of those that you can change out the insert frame, I kept it the same color as the main album though, and added some leftover scraps around it to give it a calico/cottage look...I love how it turned out! Coupled with this cute Prima flower...it made a great presentation!
This is a 6x6 album I made for an upcoming baby shower gift.
All the papers/embellie's are from the August MWE Kit from MemoryWorks.
I loved the cottage feel of these papers from October Afternoon....sure to be one of my new favorites!!
Take a peek inside...
the "baby" letters..hello? $1 on the clearance rack!
orange ric-rac...a favorite of mine!
this page just makes me feel happy!
To give depth to the page, I stuck some stickers on the outside of the page protector, that way, when the photo is placed on the page, the strawberry vine will sit over it...love it!
cute little butterfly...
I used my new sewing machine to add LOTS of stiching to the pages. Since this was a 20 page album I did a simple layout, one page will hold a 4x6 photo, the others will hold a 3x5 photo. On the above page, the green area is where the 4x6 photo will go.
I had a great time creating this album and I hope the recipient loves it as much as I do!!
Celebrate LO
I used lots of items on this layout...bling, tiny letters, felt stickers, houndstooth paper and a chicken!
Join Practical Scrappers this weekend for their online crop..lots of challenges and prizes!!

hi campers!
Well, we just got back from our camping trip to Robin Hill in fabulous Lenhartsville, PA. Not entirely relaxing with 5 kids, but still good!
Our cottage at the campground...thank god..lots of room, but the beds were like rocks!!
Jacob was digging sleeping in the top bunk...
it's hard to see in this picture, but if you look for a small orange dot in the center above the
branch..it's the moon! on our first night there the moon was crazy orange in color!
Nicholas thought this hand grenade was so funny, and it made a noise (an very quiet explosion)
Madi thought it ws pretty fun too!
emmy enjoying an ice cream cone...
captain crunch....
little miss mermaid....
jacob drove me crazy asking for soda...only a little I said, it will make you crazy!
Campfire!!!
Roadside America in Shartlesville, Pa
We ended up here when our trip to Knoebels (the worlds best amusement park!!
got rained out!!
inside roadside america...over 50 years in the making...it's really neat.
and they do a n ighttime scene..it's really cool!
and what camping trip isnt' complete without a trip to
Cracker Barrel???
Some little antique finds...this is a matchbox holder. My hubby actually found it
and remembered having one in his garage. So we got it for sentimental reasons!
My cool scale..love it!!
All in all, we had a great time. Bummer that we didn't get to go to Knoebel's, but maybe next week when Nanny comes from Mississippi! We did go to the zoo yesterday as well...fun!
